As I’m writing this 15 people around me are busy discussing and sketching out for their interactive projects. We are in the middle of a “mini workshop” which is an intense 4-hour event where I bombard people with examples of multimedia and give them some basic theory on how to construct a project. In addition to this the participants have to sketch out a simple paper prototype of an idea they come up with during the workshop. Below is the presentation from the workshop:

I continue to be amazed at how many good ideas and how much enthusiasm people bring to the table when we do these workshop events. It confirms to me that if we can make it easier to produce the stories without a lot of technical skills we would unleash a bunch of amazing storytelling.
